Warwickshire Pride
You can expect a Pride March, a rainbow marketplace of stalls, live performances and entertainment on stage throughout the day, food and drink from around the world, fairground rides, and much more.The next Warwickshire Pride festival is taking place on Saturday 22nd August 2026, 11:00-18:00 at the Pump Room Gardens
EcoFest
A celebration of everything eco. Learn about how to decrease your carbon footprint, increase your healthy eating and step outside more to explore beautiful local green spaces. Vegan, veggie and local organic meat is available, along with craft activities, live music on the bandstand, a performance by a theatre company and more! Saturday 5th September 10:00 - 17:00 at the Pump Room Gardens

Action 21 - 30th Anniversary
Do you remember Agenda 21? Or our first shop at the Princes Drive tip? If so, please read on – we need your memories.
In 1996, as a follow up to the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, Warwick District Council launched a local plan of action called Agenda 21. Various groups were set up on themes such as energy, transport, allotments and food. A few years later, it was relaunched as Action 21 which became a stand-alone company and later on a charity.
Our first charity shop opened in 2006 at the Princes Drive tip, moving to Sydenham in 2011 and our current location in 2014.
To help us celebrate this anniversary, we’re keen to have your memories and photos about the launch of Agenda 21 and the follow up years, whether as a volunteer, member of staff or a customer.

Ever Fancied being a Trustee?
Action 21 is looking for volunteer trustees with an interest in sustainability to strengthen the diversity of its current board and to fill a number of skills gaps. Please take a look at the Job Description for further details and how to contact us.
Gardening volunteers
We have a small team of 'guerilla' gardeners currently working on a previously unloved site close to the Re-Useful Centre but we would really welcome more help.

Community Climate Action

About Action 21
Action 21 is a local volunteer-based charity
that aims to reduce the environmental impact of the Leamington and
Warwick communities and raise awareness of the climate crisis and the benefits of sustainable
living.
Re-Useful Centre
Action 21’s Re-Useful Centre saves over 100 tonnes
of donated items from landfill each year by selling second hand bikes,
bric-a-brac & kitchenware, tools, clothes,
shoes & accessories, books, CDs & DVDs, small electrical items
and small items of furniture
Volunteering
Our
volunteers are key to Action 21’s continuing success. Volunteering is a
great way to meet new people and develop new skills. So, why not join the
team?
Sherbourne Recycling Centre, Coventry
Louise (General Manager) and Nikki (volunteer) had a tour around a new centre which is now processing all our kerbside recycling.
Sustainability values:
- Nothing is sent overseas. Once sorted, the materials are redistributed to UK companies to be processed for re-use.
- 100% of the energy used is renewable, coming from photovoltaic cells and the neighbouring Energy from Waste (EfW) plant.

Action 21 will be donating 100% of all the income raised at the Re-Useful Centre on Friday and Saturday 11/12 March to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
More than a million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future.
Please come and spend as much as possible at the Re-Useful Centre on Friday and Saturday as the entire income from everything purchased over the two days will be given to the appeal.
DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people and we hope that our money will help them to provide essential hygiene supplies, blankets and emergency food.
