Did you know?

The Recycle Warehouse is on reduced service

The Recycle Warehouse building is currently undergoing repairs. We are continuing to operate on a slightly limited basis using shipping containers to store and display goods but we are open. This means that we may not able to accept all the donations that we are offered.  Please also note that we are now open 7 days a week!

Walking for Health

Walk your way to health with us

Health walk at Ufton Fields

Action 21 promotes walking as a free, healthy, and environmentally friendly form of transport and exercise. We organise programmes of regular short ‘health walks’ open to the public in local beauty spots.

The health benefits include reduced instances of heart disease, diabetes and some cancers – in fact regular walking has a positive effect on up to 22 different chronic diseases and disorders. Also did you know that about ¼ of all car journeys are less than 2 miles in length? That’s around 30 minutes walk – so more people walking could really help reduce car use.
