Sustainability Centre
Action 21 Sustainability Centre is open to the public every Sunday until the end of October from 2pm – 5pm. The Lodge will re-open in the spring of 2012.
The Action 21 Sustainability Centre at East Lodge in Jephson Gardens is Action 21’s newest project – the vision is to create an exciting hub for environmental projects happening in Warwick District.

Thanks to funding from WDC and assistance from local businesses and volunteers, Action 21 and their partners have transformed the East Lodge building and the Sustainability Centre celebrated its official launch on Saturday 11th September 2010, with Mayor of Leamington Robert Cunliffe, MP Chris White and many other guests and visitors.
The Centre comprises educational and informative visitor rooms; this is your space for learning and sharing information about practical ways of living more sustainably. Find out more about local initiatives on re-use, transport, food and energy; who's doing what and where; and what exciting things you can get involved in.
Visit the glorious Sustainability Centre garden which provides habitat for lots of wildlife; there’s a wide range of edible plants with information on how best to grow them; bird and bat boxes; composting; and, best of all, somewhere nice to sit and soak up the atmosphere! We're going to show you how you can grow food in your garden even if it's not a glorious sun-trap, or even if you've only got a bit of window sill.
The Action 21 Sustainability Centre at East Lodge will be open to the public until the end of October EVERY SUNDAY from 2pm – 5pm, manned by Action 21 volunteers as well as our park ranger, who will all be happy to show you around and answer your questions about the project and building. We welcome your ideas and suggestions about what you’d like to see at the Sustainability Centre and you can register your interest for future events and training such as willow weaving, sustainability courses, recycled craft, nest box making, bicycle maintenance and more.
