Project Overview
Ensuring the success of Action 21’s varied projects through additional administrative support. We try to work with you to match your interests and areas of experience with our projects.

Volunteer tasks

  • Inputting volunteer and member details onto our database
  • Inputting volunteer hours and weights kept from landfill
  • Researching funding opportunities, green/local sources of goods and services
  • Creating posters and leaflets
  • Project specific tasks
  • Typing up lists; data entry
  • Filing; addressing envelopes; guillotining
  • Stocktaking.

Skills/previous experience sought

  • Good level of literacy
  • Basic computer and internet skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Minimum age: 18

Times needed:

  • Tuesday–Friday
  • Volunteers usually commit to a minimum of one shift (9.30am-1pm, 1-4pm) but please speak to us about your circumstances are there is some flexibility.
