Action 21 Membership

AGM

As a paying member of Action 21 you'll be directly supporting our projects and local grassroots development, building up our community and saving the planet. The support of our members is vital to the success and growth of our work.*

Benefits of membership include:

  • A way to support practical projects creating a more sustainable Warwickshire
  • Quarterly newsletter with information about local environmental initiatives
  • Information and advice about sustainability in Warwickshire
  • Discounts at some of our training courses
  • The chance to vote at our AGM: have your say in our future.

You can join as an individual, as a family, or as a business - we offer annual or life membership. For corporate members we can create a specific, tailored package to meet your own requirements. For the younger ones, there's our exciting Eco Rangers scheme.

By joining you are supporting the aims and activities of Action 21. Contact us for more information.

To join Action 21 today, download the membership form, complete and return it to Action 21.

Where does the money go?

All of the money donated through membership is used for our practical projects to make our community more sustainable and a greener place to live.

£5 pays for....2 brake cables for a bike that's been saved from landfill; a handfull of bulbs for the Nurture Nature garden at Dobson Lane; or a box of cuppa soup for volunteers working in the winter.

£10 pays for...sets of outer and inner tubes for two bicycles that could help a family reduce their car usage.

£20 pays for...a pair of second-hand steel toe-capped boots for a warehouse volunteer; new tyres for an office bicycle so travelling between our sites is easy; or half the price of translating our Re-Useful Centre leaflet into Punjabi so even more of the community can find us.

How much does it cost?

Annual prices

Concessions = £5*

Adult = £10

Family/household = £20

Life membership:

Adult = £50

Joint = £90

If you are interested in corporate membership, please contact us for more information.

*Concessionary rates apply to children aged 0-16, students and people aged over 60.

How do I renew my membership?

The easiest way is to set up a Direct Debit (the form is on the new member leaflet). That way we can renew your membership for you automatically every year. If that's not for you, then you can post a cheque or pay direct into our bank account. We'll try to send you a reminder once your membership is up for renewal.

* For official purposes our membership is divided into those who donate their money (paid members) and those who donate their time (volunteers). Both can vote at the AGM. For more information about volunteering, go to the volunteering pages.
