Being a part of the solution — influencing consumer choice
Proposal: develop, print and widely distribute a durable and attractive credit card sized ‘list’ of web addresses and help-line telephone numbers where people can get information on the energy efficiency of household goods (white goods, tv’s etc), cars and other means of travel. Being a handy size it will be easy to keep and act as a quick reference.
Volunteer opportunity: this project is currently without a leader and ‘Team’ to develop and take forward and therefore is an opportunity for those interested. Activities that volunteers could get involved in include developing the concept, need for any partners, understanding the audience and message, considering materials, artwork and costs, finding sponsors / grant bodies, making distribution plans; developing and delivering a project plan (with support available from those experienced in project management)
