Switch it off campaign

The climate change team is involving people in a ‘ Switch it Off’ (SIO) campaign which aims to raise awareness of just how much energy is wasted when appliances are left on when not needed. The team are after people who can run a ‘SIO’ campaign where they work.

Community Action for Energy (CAfE)

is a national programme from the Energy Savings Trust to promote community-led and or community based sustainable energy projects and to provide a free advice and information service. Climate Outreach Information Network (COIN)

works to educate and inform people about the impacts and challenges of climate change, and demonstrates the practical steps that people can take to reduce these impacts. They can offer advice on speakers, and run courses on

Energy Saving Trust (EST)

Government-backed initiative covering a range of energy efficiency and renewable energy programmes aimed at different target audiences.
