The Recycle Warehouse is on reduced service

The Recycle Warehouse building is currently undergoing repairs. We are continuing to operate on a slightly limited basis using shipping containers to store and display goods but we are open. This means that we may not able to accept all the donations that we are offered.  Please also note that we are now open 7 days a week!

Education for Sustainability

Every year Action 21 organises a large outdoor education event for 1500 primary children in partnership with councils from Rugby, Coventry and North Warwickshire. The event takes place over three days at the beautiful Coombe Country Park and children aged 8 – 10 from 45 schools take part in exciting ‘hands-on’ activities and workshops which bring to life environmental and sustainability issues. Each school group takes part in five workshops through the course of a day; as illustrated in the following pictures from the ‘2006 and Beyond’ event in 2006.  2008 & Beyond planning is currently under way with the event planned for 4th, 5th and 6th June 2008.
