Education for Sustainability

Every year Action 21 organises a large outdoor education event for 1500 primary children in partnership with councils from Rugby, Coventry and North Warwickshire. The event takes place over three days at the beautiful Coombe Country Park and children aged 8 – 10 from 45 schools take part in exciting ‘hands-on’ activities and workshops which bring to life environmental and sustainability issues. Each school group takes part in five workshops through the course of a day; as illustrated in the following pictures from the ‘2010 and Beyond’ event in 2010.

If you're a teacher and you'd like more information about these events, please get in touch.
