Action 21 Transport Group
The Transport Group are interested in promoting sustainable, accessible and affordable transport. Action 21 has volunteer theme groups who organise and run their own projects to promote sustainability in the areas of food, energy, transport and waste. Theme groups also have an input to the larger scale activities that Action 21 pursues and each group is represented on the Board of Directors.
The group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month, 7.30pm, Leamington Spa Baptist Church, Chandos Street. New members are welcome to take part in developing and planning their own practical projects relating to transport.

Leamington Car Club
A car club is one where members share a pool of cars which are parked a short distance from where they live/work. They provide members with quick and easy access to a car for short term hire. Members can make use of car club vehicles as and when they need them. With the cost of travelling made apparent at the time of travelling members are more able to make a responsible decision of how to travel. Existing clubs in the UK and aboard have shown that for each car club car 8 privately owned cars are removed from the roads.
Through car clubs, we will have – lower carbon emissions, healthier lifestyle, less congestion, easier parking, cheaper travel.
